That photo looks like it’s been put through the ‘1980s fifth generation pirated VHS German porn film’ filter.

Just come back from Harrogate and went for a Sunday roast at So! Bar and Eats https://sobarandeats.co.uk/
Chef absolutely nailed the roast, best I have had for years so confident that they can knock up a cecent Parmo so will try that next time.

Good call with So! Bar, only been a couple of times but it's been great on both occasions.

Also, the Bozza Fodder place has just opened a satellite branch in Harrogate, which i'm aiming to try this weekend so will post in here if the Parmo's up to scratch.
Thanks for the recommendation
We often drive past here, but will now give it a try.

Booked the Fat Badger for tomorrow so will be able to compare smile

Definitely go for the roast £16.99
Beef. Roasted parsnip, carrot and potatoes, with mash potatoes and I think sweet potatoes as well. Two types of broccoli, two types of cabbage, leeks, yorkshire pudding with watercress and a jug of gravy

Sorry but there's not a taste bud in my mouth that's tingling for that! Other than a doggy bag, make a beef sarnie for supper and bubble and squeak the next day hehe

Don't eat there then. It not a complicated choice. or is there someone forcing you to eat there, if so please let us know and we will rescue you, happy to help.

My apologies for speaking my mind. I daresay it's a great place to eat and has many dishes I would love to try. I'll check out the menu and maybe pop in next time I'm up there.

What’s your strategy for eating such a monster. Do you pick it up in your hands, or do you have to knife and fork it?

For anyone new to this thread, this is exactly what it's all about, filth personified.

Small muchie box from the local Chinese. This was £10.50 with curry sauce and free prawn crackers. Everything tasted exactly the same.
