I opted for the bubble and duck egg. It was perfect, thankfully I wasn’t paying on this occasion and I had the company of three Italian beauties. They had pancakes and other sugary stuff which they liked.

What is the sauce/gravy/jus that it is served in?

No idea but it wasn't very runny and was rather tasty.

Homemade, chorizo, mushrooms, chili, lamb suet and four eggs, with cheese. Enjoyed alongside some kimchi and chased with a couple of slices of toast.

Got a takeaway from my local cafe whilst watching the F1 - I took the generous amount of black pudding off as I don't like it and asked for it not to have tomatoes - but I was impressed with it.

Think I should rent a garret here, and do some 'private tutoring', so much potential wink

It's really odd that you're impressed by this. It seems small, beans cooked individually, eggs sauteed in water(?), sausages resemble something unappetising and toast is the cardboard sort -- which I admit can be satsfying in a manner not to dissimilar to a drunken fumble with a five pinter on a dancefloor in shagaluf. However, this is breakfast and as such a far more serious undertaking. Minus points for the aversion to both black pudding and tomatoes. In fact, the two together are a fine gastronomic indulgence, enlivened with a little brown sauce.

Tough crowd today laugh

I've never liked tomatoes nor black pudding. Tbh I'm not much of a breakfast person and can only think of a couple of standouts - Trianon Palace in Versailles being one of them. Regarding the 5 pinter - you may not be too far off the mark, having a birthday bash on the Saturday night prior to the 5am GP alarm a few hours later May have added to my satisfaction of this particular breakfast!

Indeed; F1 and a dirty breakfast to banish the sins of the previous night's birthday bash. That's what makes live worth living.

Those 'sausages' though... redcard

They were actually tasty - but that could be alcohol related too laugh

Are we still debating breakfast or we back to the birthday bash?

If that's a takeaway, how do you carry it?

It was in a polystyrene box that I then put onto plates.
