Being in hospital sucks.

“Toast” and “porridge”. Salt garnish for porridge and mug of tepid brown out of shot.

None of the food served for any meal is hot and it seems seasoning is anathema to ISS Facility Services.

Get well soon.
I would happily give up a testicle for a decent full breakfast!

I'm sure that wouldn't be necessary, but if there's a PHer local to you they could deliver a decent breakfast

We can't be far off water quality that would necessitate sterilising before drinking again. Turning it into beer is the traditional method laugh

The idea that there are hard and fast rules for a meal that clearly started as a bunch of st someone had lying around on a plate is quite funny.

I read the above article in the times this weekend and it made me smile. As had been said this is a broad church my preference is for a potato product in the form of a hash brown if I’m having a full pork based breakfast plate.

But we’ve hoopists and soupists on here, live and let live.

Hang on, what have I missed? When did fry-up become fry-out?

Get rid of the unnecessary greenery, unless the grass is being cut and the window was open....

This.

A clump of green plant stuff in beans is just stupid.

But it's a cheffy thing to do. Elevates a fry-up to posh-nosh and adds a couple of quid to the price. hehe

I’m guessing Nigella seeds, that would be my preference as well over a bucket of black pepper which some of our chain smoking brethren seem to prefer.

It was black sesame seeds on the eggs.

I like a peashoot so they weren’t wasted. Unnecessary I agree though but as that was £23 for the two plates I’ll take any extras. Drinks on top. It’s getting very pricey local to me but everywhere I go is quality and they don’t take the piss they’re a business and I get the benefit of them all competing for business with quality improvements not a battle for the lowest price.

If you’re inclined to take a recommendation look up Grandads Sausages, Manchester on instagram and if they deliver to you order a lot. There were 2 on my plate above and a lot of my local places serve them and they are absolutely superb. They have a deserved cult following up here.
