I was about to ask how number2 got it so good looking! It looks like the bacon I pull off the turkey on xmas eve.

Honourable mention for Cotty's breakfast as well, those eggs look absolutely spot on and 3 is always better than 2 biggrin

My guess on the bacon would be in the oven on a baking tray. Which is how we do it.

If it's supermarket stuff that produces that horrible white liquid, yes Tesco looking at you there, then a quick flash in the frying pan first to get rid of that white muck then lay it out on a parchment lined baking tray, 180°C fan, but keep an eye on it. Very quickly goes from spot on, per that pic, to well over and even utterly crozzled. Still edible even so.

Thanks all biggrin.

The bacon was indeed crispy! I just cook it under the grill on a rack - turn it once. It was the 'good stuff' from a supermarket.

Are those eggs on something? They seem to be floating 1/4 inch above the plate.

You in the Sheffieldish area of the world?
I'm not, but I was in Sheffield when I learned the way of the Hendo's.

In the beginning there was nothing. And then there was Hendo's.

Yeah, lovely job. Sausages and toms are done just right.

Entirely correct in all respects.

That is an impressive offering. I share the view that it's over-tomato'd and I regret the lack of beans. I'd also prefer BP and 'shroom separation to avoid the North-western black hole. But, frankly, all of that is nit-picking really; that is a fine start to anyone's day.

I can't be doing with beans, they're basically a council attempt at eating legumes, but there's something just right about that.

I think that that tomatoes would go nicely with the black pud, bite by bite, though that may be my misplaced sense of orderliness.

As generally a pro-beans and anti-tomato person I have no problem with that offering. Perhaps halve the quantity of tomatoes, but they are done to perfection, must be said.
