The hash brown was good, egg was overcooked everything else was as expected.
Must confess, as I've got older, when ordering a full English I specifically state that I want the fried egg soft, runny (or whatever). If it arrives hard I just ask the waiter to take it back to ask the chef for another one (or two). done politely I think it's fair.

Tis' funny, the last time I was in this cafe the eggs were poached and overcooked so I was going to try and get fried instead and noticed they were now to be fried so said nothing when it came out overcooked I was apoplectic. Next time I will mention it.

I'm going to have to run that through Google translate.

Well, like you said I ran it through Google Translate and it came out as:-

"It's funny, the last time I was in this cafe the eggs were poached and overcooked so I would try and fry them instead and noticed they were now fried so didn't say anything when it was overcooked, I am a suitable person. Next time I will mention it".

Almost the same, but not quite.

Edit
I like the way "I was apoplectic" changes to "I am a suitable person".

Unless it’s truffle.

But we all know it’s pepper, and it really is too much!
You can't have too much pepper. It's a gastronomic impossibility. It's like telling James Martin he's used too much butter.

Yes, I had been having their giant crumpets previously, but they were out of stock one time and I tried these instead.

Crumpets done in an air fryer, 180c for 2 mins load with butter and then 3 minutes at 200c, come out lovely and crispy.

My wife made a little breakfast wrap today and it went down a treat.
Omelette, sausage and plastic cheese.
