Must confess, as I've got older, when ordering a full English I specifically state that I want the fried egg soft, runny (or whatever). If it arrives hard I just ask the waiter to take it back to ask the chef for another one (or two). done politely I think it's fair. sean ie3 said:
Tis' funny, the last time I was in this cafe the eggs were poached and overcooked so I was going to try and get fried instead and noticed they were now to be fried so said nothing when it came out overcooked I was apoplectic. Next time I will mention it.
I'm going to have to run that through Google translate. CharlesdeGaulle said:

"It's funny, the last time I was in this cafe the eggs were poached and overcooked so I would try and fry them instead and noticed they were now fried so didn't say anything when it was overcooked, I am a suitable person. Next time I will mention it".
Almost the same, but not quite.
Edit
I like the way "I was apoplectic" changes to "I am a suitable person".

Warburtons thin Crumpets? Meaning to try them any good?
Yes, I had been having their giant crumpets previously, but they were out of stock one time and I tried these instead.Crumpets done in an air fryer, 180c for 2 mins load with butter and then 3 minutes at 200c, come out lovely and crispy.
