A snatch and grab for me this morning. Smoked streaky and goose fat fried egg (avec ketchup)

I'm afraid it doesn't matter what sort of rush you were in, there is no excuse for a yolk that off centre.

How on earth does one consistently centralise a yolk? confused

Cook them in rings and be careful how you break the egg

This is actually a thing. I like a sloppy egg sandwich. These egg rings must be for the kind of people that count the number of roast potatoes for each person.

I don’t disagree with you I’m just answering your question hehe as long as the yolk isn’t broken and cooked how I like I’m all good on egg spread and yolk position

BiP has a case to answer. He makes the parsimonious John Paul Getty look positively bacchanalian.

I can sort of see the point of an eggy ring (oooh, Matron) if you’re aiming for a McDonald’s type muffin/stack, but other than that, pointless.

We are having bread rolls, cheese, yoghurt and shizzle here today (not together, obvs). I’m not sure I should even take a photo, let alone share it.

My god this was good from the deli butcher in Clifton, Bristol, pork and leek sausages with a fried egg, cheddar cheese, fried onions and chipotle mayo all for £4!

The best breakfast I’ve had for ages!
Apologies but that looks like a bird has parked it’s breakfast on your breakfast laugh

Edit: fork goes in the dominant hand (left for me).

Sourdough. Guacamole. Badly poached eggs. Mushrooms. Chorizo.

Out of shot, bucket of coffee.

All over that all day long. smile

Re forkgate, of course when operating with a full set, a civilised man uses the fork in him left and knife in his right. Increasingly, if operating in the American style, absent knife because inherently uncivilised, then the fork is used in the right hand.
It is the modern way, I find I have started to do it myself on occasion - but the knife must be absent, lest one be thought a savage.

Tony and Mr E, sterling efforts lads. Sammo, your sausages look interesting. What are they?

Chipolatas (reputable butcher but oddly lacking in seasoning), smoked streaky, goose fat egg proudly off centre, mushrooms with raspberry vinegar, ciabatta and London grown olives, cracked and dressed with lemon, garlic, EV olive oil, black pepper and bird's eye chillies.
