Sourdough. Guacamole. Badly poached eggs. Mushrooms. Chorizo.

Out of shot, bucket of coffee.
All over that all day long. smile
Mother’s Day joint effort - the boy can fry the shrooms and chorizo while I deal with the eggs.

The kedgeree looks excellent.

It is spectacularly ‘pale’. I hope that’s just the photo.

Tony and Mr E, sterling efforts lads. Sammo, your sausages look interesting. What are they?

Chipolatas (reputable butcher but oddly lacking in seasoning), smoked streaky, goose fat egg proudly off centre, mushrooms with raspberry vinegar, ciabatta and London grown olives, cracked and dressed with lemon, garlic, EV olive oil, black pepper and bird's eye chillies.

“dressed”? Jesus H Tittyfking Christ on a bike and all the angels, saints and baby orphans up in heaven.

Kedgeree, a rare treat at home.

Special commendation for this one. The tradition is strong here.

They’re Vienna beef chipolatas. Just grilled so the skin goes crunchy. Very nice.

laugh It does look a bit pale doesn’t it! The bacon is from M&S and apparently doesn’t crisp up. I’ve had it two weeks in a row and it just doesn’t seem to change colour no matter how long I grill it for!

I think boiled eggs are meant to be pale and my toaster is utter ste! I can either have my toast anaemic or burnt to a crisp. There’s no inbetween laugh

You need to get your sponge wobbling and up your olive game.

yep, bacon and eggs is fine but sometimes you just need something a bit "more"

That one on the right looks like an old grump sticking his tongue out.

Despite both looking rather 'jizzy', I think most of us could smash those bad boys.
