The new thread has seriously lost its mojo. This is all rubbish.

You're right, some plonker posted a picture of his breakfasts wrapper!

Unbelievable Jeff Jim.

It was an unfortunate time to switch volumes, had it happened today there would have been much more suitable offerings.

I'm relying on the 'just trolling swinnerton' defence, by posting pictures of st(ish) brekkies to make him feel at home. Notice there's been no pics of Thursday's glorious effort.

I made some thingies & had to have one straight out of the oven. Now trying not to eat the other 5.

+1
Good effort, I could never be arsed to make scotch eggs.
My kitchen used to do a venison one with jalapeño and cider relish, yolk always runny.
I miss those... frown

Thanks. Thought it fitted with the eclectic start to this volume.

Chive sausagemeat from Hopkins in Birkenshaw for any not-quite-locals that weren't aware it's reopened under the stewardship of a fine young chap.

Sorry meant to post earlier - like when it was breakfast time itself ..... smile

Firstly stew/scotch eggs (which look lovely) have no place in a meal called breakfast. These are just other foods eat at the wrong time (unless on a shift in which case can be forgiven)

To bring the thread back on track I give you Bacon, egg, hash browns on a long roll (torpedo if you want) with brown sauce. From van @ my local Screwfix.

Consumed back at my desk at home. Eaten before 0930 hrs I should add (breakfast 0630 - 0930 hrs)

I was going to ask about the sausage meat but wasn't expecting it to be from somewhere just down the road, I must pay them a visit.

You must. The produce, whilst not the cheapest, is consistently 10/10; pork pies especially. I should also add that scotch eggs are a complete tt to make and I've still not got the hang of an even coating.

But the temptation to eat the lot straight out of the oven is off the chart.

Looks fantastic. I assume this is preparing for the long game rather than an 8 patties high monster, although I secretly hope the latter.

Unfortunately not. Should cover the weekends breakfast for both of us.

Sorry to bring vol2 into disrepute so soon, but I don’t do eggs, so I hope I get 3 paddies a day, she’ll have 1 with an egg each day. Standard McDonald breakfast is a double sausage and a single one for me, so sounds fair!

If these are good, I’ll be loading the freezer with them for sure.

I wouldn't be concerned with a non-egg contribution; the thread's been a total clusterfk of entries so far. I fully expect someone to post a picture of a wet rock tomorrow.

Are you making this sort of stuff yourself or are these bought?

I know that consensus is that thread's lost its mojo*, but making your own breakfast patties is quite the commitment.

* I disagree. cf. Scotch eggs.

I’ve made them. It’s just pork mince with a few things thrown in. Did have to buy a round egg maker thing, but the other half is excited about perfect round eggs...

Zero points for presentation and style but had some paninis and eggs that needed using....

Only three sausages today but did put them on the "wrong" way for maximum coverage and support for the bacon / eggs, no cheese either but did add some brown sauce.

Camera fail for the money shot though :-(

Wrong type of fake cheese, has let it down a bit, other than that 8/10.
