Collecting my daughter from University - came up yesterday daytime. No frills premier inn outside Liverpool breakfast this morning.

This was the state of the sausages and bacon !!. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything an insipid as those sausages - not a single one of them had any colour on them - the bacon was just pink and flaccid ….. wink. I had the fried eggs, black pudding, beans and toast instead.

There’s a good bit of FEB action at the start of the (wonderful) Flying Lizards song ‘money’.

Hope link works

I'd combine it and have a cheese and ham omelette

And a black coffee, the only way to have coffee in my opinion. Beautiful day out there today folks, get out there.

Facebook just threw up this memory from 2 years ago, sadly a casualty of covid, the cafe reduced its menu and the big breakfast never came back frown

You'll have to help me out.

Top tier - yoghurts and honey? Some sort of cream cheese and a pastry?

Middle tier - Cream cheese and napkins?

Bottom tier - rolls, ham and more napkins?

I'm guessing middle tier is all cheese, no napkins? Very thin squares of some sort of cheese?

Have to say, I probably wouldn't lament its loss too much.

Yoghurt/honey/granola, omelette, butter, jam
Old cheese, young cheese, soft cheese
Salmon, ham, bread, croissant.

Sun and my camera making meet and cheese look a lot paler than reality though.

That does sound like a decent breakfast spread to be fair. I do enjoy the occasional cold meats and cheeses as a brekkie.
