Not going to be getting photos, but I’ll give breakfast my best shot… trying to shovel a full english down whilst doing my best to focus on talking shop.

Sorry BM, off topic, but this is really bugging me. Does the Wolseley get versions of the FT printed with their logo? Or is this something else?

They must stamp it. I was there 45mins early, sat at the wonderful centre table and perusing this broad sheet, it’s a great place to be.

Interesting, thanks for satisfying my unnecessary need to know.

Here's some average breakfast content in return for going off topic:

My go-to breakfast place has closed and this one seems to have changed hands in the last couple of months. Beans never used to come in a pot (I emptied on the plate).

'Average' might be exaggerating.

He asked for a sarnie after swimming this evening.

In a break from recent thread habit I'll not quote the entire flipping conversation, but I'm waving my red card on account of a post-swimming snack in the evening not being a breakfast as is generally understood. So, despite the impressive demi-sausage browning, I'm stating disqualification* is appropriate.

  • But yeah, I'll have a couple of those bad boys thank you very much.
Apologies work being a bit mental (not in a good way)

Firstly - CdG - thank you for shortening the reply.

Secondly - bolidmicheal - appears junior BM has exquisite taste + contents of the sandwich are breakfast constituents - and breakfast can be had anytime !!

Today’s offering - mandatory day in the office / M25 now having average speed cameras junction 3-7 ……

I will say poached eggs were nice, bacon crispy/thick cut and V tasty.

Already had 2 cups of coffee as get in for usually 0610 ish hrs, but roadworks added 20 mins to that - hence my naff Diet/Zero Dr Pepper before the usual bemoaners pick it up …. smile

A self-plated hotel breakfast so rather messy, but tasted OK. Sausages were the weak point.

Nowadays I rarely bother with sausages. They just aren't worth it.

Yellow temporary ones used for roadworks (lots of bollards on side of road) but given it’s about 5 miles worth I doubt it’s just for a few days.

They’re usually quite good at marking them ‘not in use’ after. Of course, the infrastructure remains…

I suspect answering this will lead to an off topic excursion.

Question: How do you eat the fried bread? As a side or get down and dirty and slide it under the eggs and beans after the photo cloud9

That just won't do. Can't be having soggy fried bread.
