Gourmet Ice Cream
Discussion
Thread bump.
Have only just realised Yorvale is only 10 min from me.
Had a little trip out to the farm this morning and purchased some ice cream direct.
https://www.yorvale.co.uk/
Was the usual fun getting down a farm road in the Exige but was pleased to see an MX-5 and an M3 also parked up!
Will give this stuff a try. Amazed as an ice cream lover it's managed to evade me all these years.
p.s Any tips on a PH worthy ice cream scoop?

I bought some chocolate Baileys as I fancy having a go at chocolate ice cream for Easter. It's an established recipe, just with chocolate Baileys as a variant:
397ml can sweetened condensed milk
500ml double cream
100g Callebaut 70-30-38, melted
100ml chocolate Baileys
Beat together and freeze. It really is that easy.
Otherwise known as the 'no churn' method.

I've recently taken delivery of my latest batch, including 2 new flavours, Black Cherry and Lemon Shortcake.
The Black Cherry is nice but there is something I can't put my finger on which means I don't rush to it. The lemon shortcake is unbelievable, I had a bowl of that alone last night and it is becoming a go to. Proper refreshing and zingy lemon flavour with biscuit pieces inside.
