The Sancerre has been popped and the first glass reveals a full bodied wine with quite an acidic kick. That's not a downside, just a surprise after the fruity offerings I have had recently.

Picked up this cheeky number yesterday. Going on holiday this week so this will be drunk tomorrow.

From m&s for £20, google says £34 is the going rate for this bottle.

Back from holiday so what better time to start rifling through the white wine rack of the coop in the hope of a winner.

Picked this up for a tenner.

I drank the bottle above and it wasn't any good at all.

I decided to pick up a bottle from the coop back in the £15 price range and the difference was huge.

This is a really good bottle. domaine roblin 2020.

We have had a fair few bottles from M&S recently. We wouldnt usually get wine from there but we had a gift card so wine was purchased.

They have all been really nice I have to say.
Those two are always in my parents fridge, and I grew up on Chablis which is still in my top 3 wines. Another family favorite is Cloudy Bay Sauv B (not to be confused with Oyster Bay) - when ever I've served this without fail everyone falls in love with it. Weirdly it's very popular at the wine store here in Chicago and regularly sold out.

Any fellow wine fans know where I can get hold of good quality vino verde? Finding it hard to find

Last week's bottles.

This one was picked up at Sainsbury's for £15.

Missus rated it a 9/10 so that's the score.

This one is from the coop and is also in the £15 range. Taste is wonderful but gave me a groggy head the day after 8/10.

This has been one of my favourite whites for a very long time.
I sell it’s where I work. Good value at just under £17.00

Lots of people swear by ‘Chin Chin’ but I’ve not had it. It’s all over London restaurants/bars. Could be savvy marketing..

Might give it a go as don't think I've tried that one, find the supermarket ones a bit hit and miss. Think the locals must keep the best stuff for themselves

I've found that this is a wine I like on holiday but never tasted as good back home. However The Wine Society VV is pretty decent. Got the colour, grip and hint of a sparkle that I like - in a word fresh.

Nice with some seafood

not that I can drink at the moment, but find in this heat we are having it is the perfect wine when nicely chilled! Its definitely a nice weather/holiday wine and doesn't feel right drinking it indoors on a grey day

Don’t drink a lot of white, but found this in the cupboard - seems to have held up well and is buttery smooth…

Looks a good colour and has obviously aged well. Am I at all envious?

Yes.

Had a bottle of M&S Classic last night to cool me down and help me sleep, think it's the first Vinho Verde I've had, reminded me of a sharper Appletiser to be honest, and rather enjoyed it, think I paid around £9 for the bottle, can only find the price for 6 bottles online
