This is kind of on the foody forum, but it is more of a P&P thing.

I at a live eel once. Tasted.. eely. Like a fish. Not bad really.

In Africa they did have crocodile tail in a local restaurant. Never tried it. Anyone had that? Elephant meat in cans in the supermarket too.

I really do think black pudding is a very, very strange and terrible thing to eat. Most people outside UK would think the same, I'm sure.

Spiders eggs.

Used to think they were power pills when I was a boy.

Guinea pig? You turtle. What was it like? Was it by mistake, in a sandwich or something?

Lemme guess, did the Llama make you go 'YAK!' in disgust?

It's quite a delicacy in Peru.

Ostrich is lovely...but not that odd.

Black pudding is rather odd - as a concept - but very tasty.

Black pudding? Its lovely, had some this morning with my traditional post grand prix cooked breakfast.

As for the strangest, well, buffalo, horse, wildebeest, swordfish etc etc.

I am generally happy to give anything a whirl as long as its not offal, I wouldn't eat a snake and pygmy pie for example (although I do eat Haggis and black pudding). When I was in France once the family I was living with served up a plate of fish brains, I drew the line at that.

I had crocodile last week in Hanover (Namibian Restaurant). Texture of chicken but taste of fish - it was excellent.

I've eaten at the Fat Duck, so you can count things like Snail Porridge and scrambled egg ice-cream in the list of weird things biggrin

Raw Clams, very strong tasting compared to cooked. Raw Octopus and various fishes, cooked Ostrich, Bison, Caribou. Nothing too crazy.

Guinea pig was bit like chicken (hate to say it) Tis a delicacy in Ecuador and Peru presented hair less and fryed on a plate bit like a suckling pig biggrin

Llama was on purpose and bit like a breaded schnitzel was lovely!

I saw a programme on that a few weeks back. I can usually stomach most disgusting things I see on TV/t'interweb but that nearly made me hurl
