Sainsbury's stocked these for a while smile
Those duckinbolied egg things look a bit eek but I would probably try them, as well as those wafer thin sparrows seen on Top Gear.

Scorpion and crickets are the weirdest, also odd looking bits of fish in Singapore.

Speaking of Singapore - durians smell like st, don't they.
God yeah, picked one up when I was in Sri Lanka... took it back to the hotel with me, and you should have seen the looks of horror on the receptionists faces when they saw it tucked under my arm!

Weirdest thing I've eaten recently... zebra. Pic to follow in other thread.

i'm fascinated every time you post about your china adventures - i spent a month there and thought i'd experienced a lot, but nothing like what you've been faced with! so how did the bladders and eels taste?

Really... I flew into Chengdu, before starting my journey but only spent a day or so there. I ate with my co workers a lot, but the breakdown in comms meant i never exactly knew what i was getting for my lunch/dinner.
Well keep the stories coming, how much longer are you there for?

Oh yes, the hotpot cloud9 I'm not picky with food, as long as it tastes nice, I won't get hung up on what part of what animal it is... however, cows stomach - not very nice at all nono
