My local butcher makes his own, including a couple of varieties that also involve the products of the local brewery. Then I had some supermarket sausages the other week and was amazed by just how much better the butchers ones are.

Has anyone got a sausage maker?

If so, are they any good?

Black Farmer sausages are great. 90% pork, but deliciously juicy and plump.

well, my sis has one and I borrowed it. The sausages were surprisingly easy to make (but not link!!) and tasted divine. Organic pork with garlic and star anise. Nice.

Debbie and Andrews 97% Harrogate Sausage ... the only gluten free ones that I really like.

OK Black Farmer sausages are also gluten free, and taste very nice, but they use soya as a filler and I don't particularly want my female hormones topped up.
