Pancake mix is a great idea! what could be easier than 'just add eggs and milk'.

Although I did have the misfortune to notice Morissons are selling premade pancakes. None of that complicated mixing - just bung them in the microwave. Yummy. banghead

Seeing as it's all to do with Lent, which is something to do with Christianity, and no doubt most of us give up bugger all, why do we bother with pancakes I wonder?

Then again, maybe I will give up work this year during lent laugh

The first pancake never comes out right so chuck it and all the rest of them should be brilliant.

I'll be in pancake heaven tommorrow, just bought some new pans, so success is guaranteed.

I personally love mine with maple syrup and a bit of ice cream, or whipped cream.
Or, even better one with fresh berries, ice cream and coulis lick

I part boil some savoy cabbage, then shred it, then fry it with some pancetta. I then put that into the pancake and sometimes add a little bit of Blue Cheese.

Lovely.

Had crepes last night. Simply couldn't wait any longer. It felt like premature ejaculation.
