Sugar and lemon.

But savory options are great too - try diced pork with a mushroom soup sauce.

Also, try a tinned black cherry topping, heated in the microwave, it may just blow you away smile

The cherry is sounding good.

Of course the other alternative is to go 'le mans' style, and drown it in so much Grand Marnier that you cant even remember what you are eating.
Doubt that would go down well with mrs emsman though.

Always have a couple of each... Lemon & Sugar and...

Nutella with Haagen Dazs Cookies & Cream ice cream. Yum.

Gretch is muttering something about lemon curd*. Think she needs taking upstairs.

  • Such a quaint name for such a messy business.

I think I will try pastrami, garlic, mozzarella and chilli. Otherwise it's ham and emmental, and the godly fresh lemon and brown sugar.

Ok this is going to seem sad but...............have loads I make, both sweet & savoury
Favourite is the usual syrup & lemon followed by castor sugar & lemon
Lightly cooked apple, cinnamon with some dried fruit, rolled with a sprinkling of sugar on top + cream
Use any fruit or pie fillings + cream or ice cream
Fry a chopped onion with can of corn beef in butter. Then pour a tin of undiluted, tomato condensed soup over the rolled stuffed pancakes & bake for 20 mins
Can do the same with any meats + condensed soups
