Pacer mints, the way forward.
They were yummy. Spearmint is so much nicer than peppermint.

Blue mouths were a school favourite from the local sweetshop.

Not only did they turn your mouth blue, but much to our amusement it also made your pooh very blue too.

Was that to earn enough money to buy some sweets?

Yes! I remember those.

I know you can still get them, but I used to love Curly Wurly's.

Caramac Mmmmmm

Anyone remember Splicer bars ?

Every few weeks a guy comes into our office and sets up a stall selling retro sweets - who could resist smile

I was going to mention cola/pineapple cubes!

What about those sherbert flying saucer things that melted in your mouth!?

No ones mentioned MoJo's!!

A bit like black-jacks or fruit salad, individually wrapped little candy chew things. You used to get them as either 1/2p or 1p format. Couldn't beat twenty halfpenny Mojo's for 10 pence!

Also:
Cola Cubes
Cola Pips
Pear Drops
Rhubard and Custard
Aniseed pips and Aniseed twists

My favourite was always fizzy cola bottles... a handful of them and your tongue burnt off!!

You sucked Pebbles? Your neighbour's Yorkshire Terrier?
I bet that made him blow chunks.

Mojo's....4 for a penny.
Rice paper. 1p per sheet "Can I have a hundred please" with my crisp £1 note.
Oh, and Nutty bar's. Lovely, but looked like a great big turd.
