It is fact, Japanese doesn't eat snails normally. But some of them love to eat escalgot like me wink I had it in France, and it was going well with the white chilled wine. yum

It is very nice with Sake - Please eat small portion slowly wink I don't think it is acceptable for everyone but the dish itself is very nice. If you have chance, please try it! My Japanese friend doesn't like it coz she grew up in Hokkaido(North part of Japan) and use to play with the horse hehe.
