Galette Complete

Grated hard cheese (Emmental is good) a slice of good smoked ham or a handful of pre-cooked lardons and an egg.

Eat with a cold dry cider drunk from a china cup to complete the effect.

Only 3 weeks 'til my holiday....cloud9

It's same with panini, when I went to the cafe for the galette cafe, there were a menus like,

- Fried Leek and bacon with cream (Just fried leek and bacon, then pour cream!)

-Seafoods and cream sauce (slightly fried sea foods and cream maybe cheese )

-tomato sauce and chorizo or ham or sausage with cheese.

I had similar in a crepé place near Angers a few years ago. Very nice indeed.

Naturally with a proper buckwheat galette... It really doesn't get much better than this lick
