Cheese again !
Discussion
I did find a 6 month old thread (very nice it was too) but I have recently become addicted to finding lovely cheeses and need some more to add to my shopping list. Last week on top of some lovely cheddars I bought Comte, St Agur, Ossau Iraty, Mahon and some Reblochon De Savoie. All very nice and from Waitrose but there must be more hidden gems readily available.
Please help I need a cheese fix.

The Carmarthenshire Cheese Company make some nice stuff:

I particularly like the Pont Gar smoked.
This is nice, too.

If a little 'mainstream'.

Try a bit of Austrian Smoked. Can be found in various supermarkets if you don't want to go out of the way to a specialist store. Generally comes packaged looking like a suasage.
Beautiful stuff.
I do like it. But it' a bit 'Dairylea' - very processed and plasticy.Beautiful stuff.
It's nice to suck on when it's in your mouth, full of flavour.
Good quality Reggiano Parmesan or Grana Padano (generally younger and better for eating) with a good sparkling chilled white wine or champagne.
The gritty, salty texture really works against the clean tartness of the booze.
Roquefort with a good sweet french wine (Sauterne if you can stretch to it).
