Ah, Maybe I'm getting confused by the definition of a bean to cup machine then. What I thought of (and what I have) is a machine that has a store of beans, with the ability to set varying grind sizes. It then grinds and steams the beans then produces anything from an espresso to a full cup with crema on top. No milk is mixed in at any point.
From looking on the web Bean to Cup machines seem to be a more automated solution where you pic the coffee you want (i.e capuccino) and it does the rest..If that's the case then yeah, I can see that they maybe more compromised in what they produce, still gotta be better than instant and some coffee-mate bunged in !
