Thanks mad!
Some tough choices here, I could happily eat all of the meals here depending on circumstances, ie how hungry, the mood, whether hankering for chimp with lippy etc. Fantastic performance by everyone for the first competition
Perhaps the winner should chose the ingredients for the next one as a prize? I know, it's not quite the same as Euromillions...
Good luck.
Regards
Andy

madbadger is my choice, my kind of food . I tried to cook cannelloni once and cocked it up spectacually.
Mind you Anna's Moon Pie comes a close second.
Hey Cotty, I made waaaay too much, it's in the freezer now - just like everything else I make. Need to work on my portion control. Think we should have a PH leftovers party Mind you Anna's Moon Pie comes a close second.

Its really hard to vote on this without being there to smell and taste.
I voted pferdstarke because it seemed the best combination of skill and flavours. Really liked the way the chicken was de-constructed and presented. Touch of class there. You could argue the the use of pasta was a bit marginal though...
I liked the look of Madbadger's straightforward approach to the ingredients. Arguably the least pretentious and most cohesive dish. Funnily enough I used up some of the unused left overs on Monday night in a similar way with a quick cheesy bechamel over the top -and in a way it was as good as my fussy Sat night meal.
Anna's looked very tasty too. I think pferdstarke edged it on finesse 'on the plate' but I'd love to have tasted her cooking.
I suspect cactussed is going to be a front runner, cooking good stuff over the next few weeks, -although this week, in my British cricketing, fair play Bobby Moore opinion, a 'lasagne sheet' is a pre-made, shop bought 'lasgane sheet'.
I can't comment on everyone's cooking but there wasn't a bad dish on show and I'm grateful to all for their efforts and making this fun to take part in.
