Bottelinos is the best chain ever only local South West at the moment but growing at a steady pace and consistantly good food and service.
Blimey, you haven't tried the one in Weston then.
Food and service is shocking. One of our waitresses went there with her boyfriend, and the owner spent 5 mins drooling over her. The waitress actually said to them "Ignore him, he's always a bit of a letch". Nice.
Fair point but I have highlighted the important part of your sentence which should explain why the experience there wasn't so good.

Try the Nailsea, Swindon (very nice) and Bristol ones. Never had any "issues" at any of them and always love the pizzas. smile

We used to grab a Friday lunch pizza at the Emersons Green one - top notch and recommended!

Only other one I've been to was the original one next to Debenhams, about 20 years ago ! Which was very good. Maybe it is just the Weston one.

I wouldn't say that was completely indicative of Weston eateries. There are a handful of decent places there.

I ate in Wetherspoons the other day, just as long as you accept what you're eating and choose wisely it's better than going to McD's or similar, which are pretty much on a similar level in terms of cost.
I'd agree with that.

Lots of Wetherspoons' meals under the belt in the last decade (literally). Its not 'fine dining' but I've never had a st meal/kitchen fk up and haven't spent much either. Occasionally, a pasta lunch has rivalled Italian chain dishes but at 2/3rds of the cost.
