I am getting married in December and as part of the presents for the folks I thought I'd get my dad a decent bottle of something.

I had considered a bottle of port and, in a change to previous purchasing policy, I thought I'd go for quality over quantity.

Can anyone suggest perhaps a good bottle of port to get him? Budget around £40.

My other thought was a bottle of scotch but I don't really know which ones he likes best.

Eeek! Only buy this as a gift if you know the recipient likes very peaty whisky. Some people love it (me included) but others think it tastes like TCP smile
