Today's omelette effort. I like omelettes.

Did you fry that on the inside of a capital letter Q?

That's a good observation. I actually took a bite first and then considered the thread contribution.

That you had eaten a bit did strike me as an outside possibility, but I thought it was more likely that you'd fried your omelette on the inside of a large capital letter Q.

Wrong again, eh. Ho hum.

It's a basic rule of all literary detectives to start with the most obvious, so I think you called it about right to be honest.

It concerns me greatly that you chose to eat a bit from the inside like that.

I really don't care how big, what shape or how many eggs were used in making that omelette, has no one noticed the lack of knife?

Okay, I confess darn it. I used a Q shaped pan and hid the knife with which I killed the hen.

Damn you, SJ, I see that you rot for this.

Had this which was a bit disappointing from Pierre bistro, £9.95 with a coffee and apple juice which was pretty good,

Sausages weren’t good though, very poor and not really worthy of a place that markets itself as a decent chain.

Eggs where overdone and no potato

They could have at least toasted the bread for a tenner!!!

Looks similar to what is offered at Bill's as the full English, i.e. not good value for money!

I like the added green crap to make it look like they have put in some sort of effort.

I'm not sure that would keep anyone going to elevenses, let alone lunch.

My wife doesn't eat egg, so I asked them to put it on the side.

Having polished off the Kipper and eggs, here's the buffet effort
