Beans are excellent with potato waffles, you need to be more specific, son.
Exactly. They're waffley versatile for a reason.

It looks like there's a waffle (they type made from batter not potato) on the plate in the picture. The thought of the bean juice soaking into that is giving me the boke.

Whilst there does appear to be a waffle on the plate, it is a sweet waffle or 'Belgian waffle' if you will. Delicious as they are, they are far from the accompli mon that the great Captin would desire with H. J. Heinz's finest baked beans.

It was an american waffle.

My son had the kids equivalent and the beans came in a little mug, rather than on the plate. I think that would have been a better way of doing it for the full sized portion too.

This is becoming a firm favourite in our house, only a small drizzle of hollandaise for me.

Oh - spot on (though black pudding looks like it could have done with been cooking a bit longer)

Never been sure on chips with my fry up, hash brown is where the potato is welcome.

Either way, much better than my cheap salty bacon and ruined fried egg sandwich I had for brekkie.

Can take or leave UK hash browns - these were a little onion-y for my liking whereas the chips were quite nice, and easier to dip in the egg (hash browns fall apart). American hash browns, especially the cheesy ones however, are incredible!

You're absolutely right, I like my black pudding a little more fried. But still pretty good for a greasy spoon.

Not the highest grade ingredients, but not bad for £6.

Do it the Irish way - potato bread (at 3 o'clock in the pic) and soda bread (at 1 o'clock)
Add optional wheatan bread which also works well. But if you're bringing in potato to breakfast, potato bread is a must.
