Here you go. Enjoy. I didn’t. Even though I scored double “toast” today. I can’t wait to get home and have hot toast, cut properly (in half across the centre, not this corner to corner nonsense) with actual butter, not margarine.

Seeing the food you're being dished up at NHS pleasure I'm amazed you're so chipper.
Pleased to see the care is rather better than their 'food'.

Triangular toast tastes better, but marks you out as posh, and the resultant bullying might not be worth it. Hard one to call.

I have tried Lorne sausage and I found it to be totally grim. Maybe it was just a low quality version but... mostly it reminded me of fleischkäse which is also minging.
Proper Lorne (square) sausage is a thing of beauty. i wish i could send all of my southern PH'ers some just to let hem experience it.

On a proper Glasgow roll with select sauce and Ice Cold Irn Bru (bootleg stuff, none of that new ste)
Other than the Irn Bru that is pretty much my lunch today, after my parents brought some lorne sausage round last night. You can get it down south too - at least two of my local butchers in Coventry sell it!

This mornings breakfast:

Left over Papa Johns pizza. Microwaved for 1'20" and I can honestly say that it tasted better than it did when hot yesterday.

next time do it in a pan. no oil. super low heat (to heat it through) then turn it up to medium to get a crispy crust. Don't let it burn otherwise it's ruined.. Honestly with papa johns pizzas it makes them taste as good..sometimes even better as the cirpsy crust adds something new to it.

Simular to what Ambuletz posted, I put mine in microwave 1 min, at the same time put a pan on full heat tiny bit of oil, when microwave finished pan should be red hot, place pizza in pan to crisp the bottom. 90 seconds for perfect reheated pizza. You should try it too Ambuletz.

Seeing as it's September 1st, officially International Bacon Day, a light breakfast, no really it's not one of the gut busters category

American style Pancakes, Canadian bacon, Welsh eggs (please excuse pancake second egg presentation disaster), Canadian Maple syrup. Assam tea.

Well apart from the upside down egg pancake combo it was OK. The bacon imo for that dish has to be done very crispy, but not burnt, and that is exactly how it was. 5 rashers streaky smoked Canadian.

To be frank, some folks don't get the way Americans do the pancake, bacon and eggs, that's fair enough, personally I do get it and it's a change. Could mention some of the supposed full English examples on here with bacon that has had not much more than a sniff of the pan, cheap sausages and eggs swimming in tinned tomato juice, now that's horrific.

Breakfast out the other day after a frustrating appointment at the Job Centre (all to do with SSP/ESA/Universal Credit...). Pint of IPA just out of shot. Needed more toast, but otherwise pretty decent and it was all hot, which makes a change from plenty of places I’ve been to before.

Treat myself to a dirty breakfast as on my last week of gardening leave before starting a new job next Monday.

I’m kidding myself to say I earned it having cycled 12 miles .......

NO. 2 Set breakfast, swapping the burger for Black pudding. Mug of tea and 2 slices of buttered cutty bread ....

Now I prefer chips to hash browns, and like beans (as well as tinned tomatoes)

Was polished off, with only half a slice of bread left.

Lovely thick sausages, 3 slices of crispy bacon, double egg, mushrooms, chips and beans.
