Scrambled egg, always thought I could do a mean scrambled eggs, but yesterday tea tried the method as demonstrated by Bob Mortimer on the Mortimer and Whitehouse fishing show. Definitely going to be my new method.
GF has just messaged me that she’s almost done for the day and will be here for about 7, so the order is already in the basket, ready for me to pay at 1845 so she’ll be here when they arrive (carrying pizzas is not possible on crutches, especially as my front door is five steps down from the flat. I mean, it’s possible, of course, just not if one wants one’s pizza to remain at all pizza-like, rather than some sort of roadkill/calzone fusion food combo...).

Calzone? If you've ordered a Calzone you've just cancelled-out any credits your impressive breakfast had accumulated.

Yes, I’ve been meaning to go since it opened, menu looks fairly average.

No calzone, that’s just what the pizzas would end up looking like if I tried to carry them, as I wouldn’t be able to hold them horizontally.

I had a meat thing with a couple of topping changes (ditched the chorizo and pepperami in favour of ground beef and mushrooms), GF had tuna delight (red onion swapped for mushrooms). Idiot dog got plenty of crusts. There’s enough left for breakfast for me.

Ok - in no way was I going to have a FEB (don’t do the stereotype Englishman abroad)

Simple omelette and toast with fantastic coffees - and a cracking view

I like an omelette, but I would live up to stereotypes cause I’d be washing it down with a beer regardless of how early it was

A week off work means having at least one cooked breakfast. Unfortunately the fridge is a little bare so I had to make do with whatever I could find.

Scrambled eggs, corned beef hash (sort of), grilled frankfurters, beans and toast. I couldn’t finish it all!!

laugh You’re all just jealous of my amazing breakfast cooking skills!

Seriously though. It wasn’t great! I can definitely do better!

Those frankfurters look grim. Without those the remainder might have been bearable, but the full combo doesn't appeal much.

Also, isn't the idea to take the pics before you've started eating it, not when there's just a few scraps left? jester

Why did you grill the frankfurters?

Someone else further up bbq’d bratwurst and was complaining they were rubbish

Most German sausages are boiled to cook them and then only put in a pan to give them colour after they are cooked.
