Proof positive of the “hash browns are a gateway drug” theory of breakfast.
Hash browns defo belong on a breakfast, chips do not, you never see someone have a burger and hash browns for their dinnerWhat’s next, mash potato on your fried breakfast?!
The only chip relation that Belongs in a fried breakfast is saltee potato’s

Looks ok, but isn’t the whole point of spoons is that it’s perfect at doing what it does, ok food and drink at a good price, eggs with salmon isn’t that. I imagine that they are looking to attract a different crowd from the usual alcoholics.

Currently on holiday where curry is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Observing local religious views, the hotel still cooks bacon, but they have chicken sausages, chicken ham or beef salami to avoid pork.... Doesn't make sense to me, but I'll not ask.
Today's breakfast wasn't worth of a photo as it was merely toast and coffee before I went scuba diving.
Sorry.

Disappointing breakfast today. Tried breakfast blinis with poached eggs. The blinis came out looking a bit like thickish pikelets, which in turn are like thin crumpets. Poached eggs were ok, but think crumpets would have been better for yolk moppage.
It was a sort of half way experiment to a future effort in trying blinis as an alternative to the regular support role in Eggs Benedict, but not going to bother now. Tomorrow will be a yoghurt, dates, honey, flat bread Middle Eastern thing, not really suitable for the middle of winter jobbie. Need porridge.

The Angel Hotel, Bury St. Edmunds and their Suffolk Grill breakfast. Included in the room price but listed as £14 should one not be a resident. Presentation was a bit lacking but it was pretty good. The restaurant itself is very stylish and there was a lot of MILF crumpet.
What is MILF crumpet? Now I like a good English muffin....Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
