Currently on holiday where curry is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Observing local religious views, the hotel still cooks bacon, but they have chicken sausages, chicken ham or beef salami to avoid pork.... Doesn't make sense to me, but I'll not ask. smile

Today's breakfast wasn't worth of a photo as it was merely toast and coffee before I went scuba diving.
Sorry.

On holiday too! There’s Brussel sprouts on the breakfast menu!

I can’t stand fried eggs where the yolk hasn’t had at least a light basting of oil or flipped over for a couple of seconds. If the egg is cooked reasonably quick a lukewarm yolk is urgghhhh

Sticks.

The Angel Hotel, Bury St. Edmunds and their Suffolk Grill breakfast. Included in the room price but listed as £14 should one not be a resident. Presentation was a bit lacking but it was pretty good. The restaurant itself is very stylish and there was a lot of MILF crumpet.

That really does look like they couldn't be arsed. I hope the rooms were better presented.

Nice work indeed. I'd be over the moon to have that plonked in front of my hung-over bed-head.

Beautiful stuff.

(coddled, rather than poached eggs?)

I like a stylish boutique hotel, and I adore MILFs, but the breakfast slightly disappoints. One egg seems a little stingy doesn't it? And, whilst noting that beans aren't in any way stylish, where are the beans?

When I did some trekking in Nepal all the guides and porters had leftover veg curry and roti for breakfast. We only got shown the western menu of eggs, bread and porridge etc. I switched over to curry after the second day and used to wake up really looking forward to it!
I know some people can be a bit funny about what they eat in the morning, but I don’t see why you should eat different food at breakfast to the other two meals of the day.

Which bits did you do in the air fried please? I usually stick to potato products and fish/chicken thigh.

The bread in the airfryer, left is toasted, the right "fried" in goose fat. The mushrooms and bacon in that too. The sausages cooked in the frying pan,.

Eggs done in a simple poaching pan, not twirling around in boiling water and vinegar with the pope throwing blessings at it.

This was another test of the AirGrillOven or AGO as I will now call it. Does not fry.

I could have added baked beans but that was my 2-2-2-2-2-2 breakfast. 2 eggs, 2 black puddings etc etc. Adding 2 baked beans was too much effort although might have been good for comic effect.

I like my numerical breakfasts, one from ages back....

That one counts backwards from 6.

I'm seeing 5 shrooms. Take your mittens off!
ETA - 6!

Further edit - pieces vs whole; gotcha! Goodness I'm thick sometimes.

I'm not saying curry for breakfast is a bad thing - just not ideal when you're about to go scuba diving. smile
During our 9 days in the Maldives I had 12 curries.
