First offering of a full breakfast .. be kind
Sausage from a local butcher was lovely, way better than most supermarket offerings.
No need to mention the crockery, I know it's not the best look
Looks very well cooked, especially the bacon and potato scones Just needs 'oops for a 9/10 for me.Sausage from a local butcher was lovely, way better than most supermarket offerings.

Aside from my dislike of black pudding, it would benefit from a handful more 'shrooms and the eggs placement is questionable. Otherwise terrific and an 8.5 from me. I also find the crockery comforting.Sausage from a local butcher was lovely, way better than most supermarket offerings.

Lost marks for a skinny portion of mushrooms, lack of lubricating element (beans, toms, deffo not effing hoops), and the lack of elevating element for the egg. Eggs should not be placed directly on the plate but should be relaxing comfortably on a suitable base, such as toast, a waffle, or tattie scone (nice work there). Said base should be a good complement to the runny yolk, for when you decide the time is right for the incision.

One of the eggs is a little overdone and not sure I'll be having much for dinner today but it did wonders for my hangover - that'll teach me to mix drinks :-(
That’s the best on here for a long time. Point taken off for lack of black pudding but half a point back for doing it while hungover.Solid 9.5/10 from me.
I try not to come in here as often as I'd like as it just makes me incredibly hungry but I was doing some catching up recently and then went on to chat with a friend about breakfasts.
He's from Hull and mentioned that his mum serves a "full English" with macaroni cheese and calls it "white beans" - I seem to recall someone doing that on here in the past but maybe only because they had no beans or hoops. Is this a generally accepted side or as potentially mental as it sounds now I've typed this out?
And by "mental" I probably mean "genius".

Simple yet perfectly executed. ^ orange juice in a Stella glass is a strong look.
I had my usual but with different smoked salmon to the one I normally buy. I like my smoked salmon medium smoky, salty and dry...and this hit the spot. It's the Chestnut Smoked salmon at Waitrose and I bought it because it was on offer but I think I like it more than my usual Formans London Cure.
Worth a try, 4 and a half leaping salmon out of five.
