Why do you have to pierce the film lid several times?
Discussion
Cutlery?
Plastic sporks is all i am allowed!
But why peirce the lid several times when you could just rip it off before cooking and save that hole ripping the hot wrinkly selephane from the steqamy container of food experince?
Eh?
what i want to know is how long does the clear plastic film even play a part in the cooking process.
jesus christ!
Am i alone, am I?
Nurse!

I suspect the whole idea is not just to cook the item but also some moisture is created as well, so you are steaming the item as well as cooking it.
Too few holes and it just either goes bang or puffs up. Too many holes and it defeats the object.
BTW: Is this a subtle and roundabout way of saying that you are alone....and unloved
