My local caff produces "The Full Monty", the perfect pick-me-up on overhung Sunday mornings:

Bacon (three rashers)
Sausages (two)
Black Pudding (two slices)
Fried egg (two)
Hash Browns (three)
Tinned Tomatoes (two)
Baked Beans (too many to count)
Mushrooms
Bread and butter (four slices)
Coffee

God, I could eat that now...

ETA: Fried bread is the work of the devil himself and akin to eating greasy cardboard.

If you are talking essentials then potato should not be voted for, tut tut to everyone who did.

The basic constituents are

bacon
egg
sausage
tomato

Beans, mushrooms , blackpudding, toast etc are all add ons and acceptable. Potato is not acceptable in my book and if Judge Dredd existed in real life he would be going around dishing out "the Law" in this henious crime. Punishment would probably be having to eat butter beans for the rest of your life. Urrghhh...

OP, you're a rank amateur hehe

You forgot:

White pudding
Red pudding
Fruit pudding
Potato scones (is this the same as potato cake?)
Lorne sausage
Coffee
Bloody Mary (with ground black pepper, lemon juice, tabasco, worcestershire and madeira wine)

Chips? fking chips! shoot

laugh

As for condiments, black pepper is a must for the egg. I like english mustard for my sausages and tiptree brown sauce for everything else...

And tinned tomatoes?! WTF?

What's wrong with real ones?

I suspect the people who like tinned tomatoes also like tinned spaghetti hoops, campbells meatbells and the infamous chicken-in-a-can. Oh, and sodomy.
