3 burger * lunch - nom nom
Discussion
Yes, compared to something like the supermarkets value/basic range they do have more meat, probably a lot better quality also. However, even though a fan of the mcDonalds burger ( the bog ones at least) I have to say a proper rare burger from a good burger place will beat them on taste, or home made of course.
I can eat one and quite like the taste, the gherkin obviously giving it that taste you associate, but at the end I am still rather hungry and never smack my lips saying "wow". I still freqent them though.

Maybe not so healthily - 4 jumbo sausages, 1 pack of potato "cross-cuts" from Morrisons and 2 mince pies for today's lunch. (On top of the sausage/bacon sandwich for breakfast).
I've been challenged to eat the rest of the box of 6 mince pies this afternoon too...
Are you on some kind of mission/race to see who gets to A&E first? I think its things like the pastry and frying oils and not the meat that will clog you up and get you to the front of the queue first.I've been challenged to eat the rest of the box of 6 mince pies this afternoon too...
I like the odd McDonalds or bag of chips, but I know approx what my vital signs are doing, I work out 3 times a week and I also eat plenty of organic stuff at home (oh, including home made cakes!). Plus I don't have a hereditary risk of heart disease.

Yummy! The 'fungal enzymes' and 'dimethylpolysiloxane' particularly set my mouth watering!
Not keen on fungal enzymes then? Better stop eating bread... yeast is a fungal enzyme. And dimethylpolysiloxane is an anti-foaming agent, also used in diet cola. So put down that Coke.
I like a Mcd's (particulary the grease laden breakfasts) or Burger King as much as the next man but I really like large chips and two battered sausages!
However, if you eat that stuff more than once a week I am assumng the rest of your eating habits are similair!
Still, at least your not Ginger or Welsh eh.

My eating habits are, as you can see, apalling - I need to change, but I rather like comfort eating...However, if you eat that stuff more than once a week I am assumng the rest of your eating habits are similair!

I've just snacked though - Just one sandwich made with a pack of Parma ham

If you don't like it, fine. But to say that it is mechanical slurry sh!t is way off the mark.
A gourmet meal or haute cuisine it isn't, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of the individual components, the suppliers, or how the stuff is put together. If Jamie Oliver set out to do a hatchet job on McDonalds, along the same lines as his turkey twizzlers, he would have to give up, admit defeat and acknowledge he was wrong.
Yes, it's unhealthy in as much as it is a burger and fries, but a burger and fries from a Michelin starred restaurant will be no better, and there's no way it could taste as good
Propaganda worthy of Goebbels here...

Nonetheless, I would defend your right to eat this factory processed industrial sub-food should you choose to, to my last breath just as I am sure you would defend my right to not consider it fit to feed my dog!
I wouldnt advise it as a daily diet but to slag it off as never when you prob eat in restaurants / supermarkets that are just as bad makes me laugh. everything in moderation..
oh and news for your dog the burgers that fall on the floor at the factory they sell for dog food
I very rarely eat fast food and don't buy food from supermarkets.
As for my dog, it's a good job I don't feed him dog food isn't it?
And as for not buying anything from supermarkets, I am calling you a liar. Or a fool

I tend to go with either a "Great with bacon & cheese" meal or a Quarterpounder meal with cheese wedges followed by a cheeseburger - Often with a Latte.
