One of favourite winter drinks

50ml red wine
25ml Southern Comfort
25ml apple juice
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
1.5 teaspons of caster sugar
splash of angostura bitters

Heat until it starts to simmer and serve in tall hot chocolate glasses

Ditto, was when I was young and working in my local - alas can't remember it now....

I have a bottle I use for vodka lime and soda, find it helps to line the glass with a few drops before adding the ingredients.

I saw loads of it in the Twickenham branch of waitrose the other day. Don't seem to be able to find any of the £17.95 bollinger in any of the morrisons I go in though.
