Brandy sauce. Mmmmm. I'd die if it was available to me all year round.

Yes. I love these, but it would never cross my mind to buy some at any other time of the year, assuming you even could.

Brandy butter.

Put on mince pies in copious quantities. More a case of a hint of mince pie with my brandy butter. Yum!

Oh, and Brandy Snaps with squirty cream inside.

I've probably broken some "we're all dead posh on here and wouldn't dream of eating something so common" PH rule, but I really like them.

Duck, Partridge, Woodcock.

All good eating, but seem to be a Xmas thing only

I tend to eat duck every couple of months or so. Had a partridge for the first time a few weeks back, tasty.

I quite like sprouts but they are usually just a Christmas thing as other members of the house hold would protest too much at any other time of year.

I always have a Heinz Treacle Sponge Pudding after dinner instead of Christmas pudding, only time anyone thinks to buy one is Christmas.

pigs in blankets.

why are these not a weekly menu item?! They bloody should be.
They are in my home. I do my sausages with bacon wrapped round them as part of a rather elaborate "fry-up" that I make... though the "pigs in blankets" are actually done in the oven rather than fried.

I am often amazed at things my wife buys at Christmas and never any other time of year. Picallili (or however it's spelt) I love the stuff so why only at Christmas.
They sell it all year round. You could go and buy it yourself.
