What, in the name of all thats holy, is going on there.
Has anyone ever dared eat it (or go to iceland for that matter)
Why not just have a lasagne ffs, if you want chicken tikka, surely you have a curry?
You can imagine the ideas department at Iceland thinking it up...Has anyone ever dared eat it (or go to iceland for that matter)

"People like chicken tikka... people like lasagna... hey, I have a great idea!"
a bit like..."Do you like cheese? Do you like peas? New CheesyPeas!!"

We went into Iceland in Devizes on Saturday. It's not an emproium that we frequent, but the OH wanted to look for cheap party food for the office party next week.
My goodness the "creative" foods they had in there were unbelievable.
We came away empty handed and certainly wouldn't be tempted back.

I'm pretty sure they also do a hot dog flavour pizza.
Do the people who think up new food ideas for Iceland have food tourettes? It sounds like someone was sat there shouting out random ingredients while someone else wrote them down.
Coming soon, sweet & sour chicken bolognese, steak & kidney ice cream and mint chocolate walls vienetta curry.

I went to a surf bar in the Lake District once and on the menu was 'Chicken tikka and chips, with garlic bread'. I guess you'd call that 'fusion cuisine'?"People like chicken tikka... people like lasagna... hey, I have a great idea!"

For about £2.50. Just the job when you need sustenance in the middle of a stty working day.
I've just found the Iceland website, which includes such delicacies as:-
Italian style chicken tikka pizza (the irony is strong in this one )
Deep pan doner kebab pizza
Defrost and eat king prawn spoons (WTF?!)
35 fish fingers for £2, appetizingly described as 'minced white fish'
Why not finish your meal with a delicious tiramisu ice cream gateau
and of course the famous 'king prawn ring'
It may be simple food snobbery but it's very funny

Food snobbery, that's all it is.
Heston Blumenthal does egg & bacon ice cream, and he's hailed as a visionary chef. Iceland do a chicken tikka lasagna and they are branded "weird"...

...but one is Iceland. End of.

They've combined two of the greatest post-pint foods known to man. I'd try it after a heavy night. Hell, I'd give it a go sober...Edited by 911DM on Thursday 10th December 22:33
