1st post in the foodie section so go easy wavey I was given a piece of Ham from someone at work, it's quite large weighing in at nearly 5kg (should keep me going in ham sarnies until Feb).

So the question i have is, is it cooked ? I know this might sound silly, but i really don't know. It was given to me in a bag of brine / jelly, it kinda looks cooked, tastes a bit salty, but does it need a session in the pot or oven ?

Sounds cooked to me, it would have a soft texture like bacon if it was raw. (same stuff mind)
