Anyone ever cooked it? Any tips? I've eaten it a few times and I'm going to make an attempt at it tomorrow.

Do not put the prunes in until near the end of the cooking process otherwise you will end up with a fruity, overly sweet mush.

After rehydrating the prunes, pop them in the casserole about 30 minutes before you intend to stop cooking. That way they will keep there shape and not impart all of their sweetness to the entire dish.

PS. Lucky bugger. I would love some rabbit now.

If you've got a decent recipe, just follow it (depending how wild/old your rabbit is). Nigel Slater's version using the hard, dried Agen prunes in 'Real Good Food' is pretty damn good.
