It's a bit too sweet for me. Hey ho, I suppose it is made for 16 year olds.
Its marketed as a drink for adults.

Whatever you do don't try the Chocolate and vanilla ale thing that Morrissons sell from the same brewer.

It's totally rank.

The Ginger Beer is really nice though. smile

Crabbies only sell Ginger wine, alcoholic ginger beer and pre mixed whisky mac.

There is another brewery called Crabbys though maybe its them you are thinking of.

Ah right, not sure. :shrugs shoulders:

It's on sale in Morrissons on the same shelf/gondolas as the Ginger Beer, there's a few different-but-similar "real ales" if you see what I mean so I assumed they were from the same people.

It's still ranker than a lay-by full of taxis though. biggrin

They should sell it in smaller bottles - a pint bottle is no good for teenagers to drink from.

It's a 500ml bottle actually but a good point. The client went with the bigger traditional ale bottle as it is aimed at adults, not teenagers.

The whole marketing campaign and launch are/was aimed to make the distinction between it and other RTD's such as WKD and Smirnoff Ice.

RTD's have had a massive drop in demand so launching just another RTD would be pointless!

Well my dry January didn't make it as far as next weekend, so I can give my review now. It's going to make a great summer drink, but I think just one bottle as a thirst quencher! It's too sweet for copious amounts.

Really, I didn't think it was sweet, perhaps my taste buds are up the spout.
