Your favourite sandwich

OK, now I'm going to lower the tone, whilst I do like a really good proper well made sarnie, with quality ingredients, I like to indulge in this every now & then.
A jar of tuna/mayo spread, whole packet of salt & vinegar crisps spread out on top of the paste, sandwich, crush (so the crisps don't fall out).

Cheese. Of the Cheddar variety, making sure that the cheese is very, very strong (Snowdonia Black Bomber, for instance) and the onion is very, very Spanish (mild and sweet).
Placed in a bun so crusty, that the brown top "cracks" and flakes when bitten into.
Total sandwich satisfaction.

Bacon. Lots of bacon in tiger rolls with red sauce.
Substitute the bacon for a few olde english pork sausages from my local butcher and you have heaven right there.Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
