OK, now I'm going to lower the tone, whilst I do like a really good proper well made sarnie, with quality ingredients, I like to indulge in this every now & then.

A jar of tuna/mayo spread, whole packet of salt & vinegar crisps spread out on top of the paste, sandwich, crush (so the crisps don't fall out).

Slow roasted belly pork with crackling, stuffing and gravy on fresh white crusty bread. Takes ages but worth the effort lick
This but with Apple sauce not gravy.

And kept under a warming light in a sandwich shop for days on end just improves it lick

Oooooh, there are loads, but if i want a decent sandwich, then decent haslet from a farm shop, peppered pastami and corned beef in a sub roll, with a thin smearing of mustard between each layer, or if im really hungry then i will include salad too

Bacon, brie and cranberry.

Just delicious.

Salt beef bagels are incredible too.

Bosh.

Soft white bread with a light spreading of Lurpack Salted, crisp streaky smoked bacon, egg mayonnaise with black pepper and spring onion, iceberg lettuce and thinly sliced tomato.

It is now 10pm and I am considering making us one.

Personally I like the Sausage Man at St. Nick's Market in Brizzle. 2 pork & black pudding bangers in a baguette with mustard and leeks.

Cheese. Of the Cheddar variety, making sure that the cheese is very, very strong (Snowdonia Black Bomber, for instance) and the onion is very, very Spanish (mild and sweet).

Placed in a bun so crusty, that the brown top "cracks" and flakes when bitten into.

Total sandwich satisfaction.

Bacon. Lots of bacon in tiger rolls with red sauce.

The breakfast food of the gods.

Followed closely by hot roast beef and waasabbi(sp?). Food of godlettes

Substitute the bacon for a few olde english pork sausages from my local butcher and you have heaven right there.

Good call. I only seem to eat snorkers at Xmas, but today the idea of scoffing a load seems utterly divine.
