Im a bit sissy when it comes to cheese im a Mild Cheddar and Mozzarella kinda guy.

I did run into Blackbomber Cheddar and its fantastic. Its mature rich and creamy.

Any others to try? I can cope with Stilton in soup but not on its own!

Cheers

Cheese novice Petrol.

English cheeses: Kirkham's crumbly Lancashire or the Wensleydale Creamery's Wensleydale.

Brie, Emmental not for me chaps.

Spent lots of time in France and could not hack the stuff. Amongst other French looking cheddar crap wink. As you can see I am not very good with names. Although Reclette (sp?) Is one i did enjoy whilst in the Alps.

Try Cuddy's Cave, Smoked Allerdale and/or Westmorland Cheddar.

All very nice and not "overly" flavoured.

I very much like Cambazola, Saint agur , and stilton, gorgeous stuff! Some of the goats cheeses are very pleasant , likewise , some of the german smoked cheeses.

I'm attacking Mclelland seriously strong cheddar at the momnet. Makes a brilliant welsh rarebit. Try it with a splash of Watkins Mushroom Ketchup , instead of Worcester sauce, very nice!

If you can't do Brie (not even with the rind cut off?) then there isn't much hope I'm afraid!

What ever you do, never try a cheese called Munster. It smells like a dead animal but tastes so so good!

Applewood Smoked cheese is lush.

I am not a fan of blue stilton but go nuts for white stilton, much much easier to eat.

Lancashire crumbly is awesome as well.

You need to chug a decent red wine at the same time...

It goes like this:

'Right, that's the meal over. Oh, I've still got some wine in the glass, I'll have a few crackers and stilton to finish it up.'

'Well the glass is empty now, but I haven't finished the crackers and stilton. I'll have a splosh more wine to finish them up.'

et repete...

This week's favourite in our house is Époisses. Just try some!

ETA You'll probably hate it, but there's obviously something wrong with your tastebuds anyway wink
