As an antidote to the big plate, small portion travesty of a food show that is Masterchef and in order to make a mockery of Sophie Dahl's cookery show in which SHE EATS PRACTICALLY NOTHING!!!, i direct the ph food massive to Man v Food on the Good Food channel.

Any program which requires the presenter to eat, over the last three shows;

6 "Atomic" chicken wings - 150,000 scovill units
15 dozen oysters
1/2 of a 30 inch, 11lb pizza named Carnivore

deserves everyone's respect and viewing attention.

We shall see what culinary magnificence tomorrows show will bring!

PS - more often than not, it's washed down with a beer, so fair play to the presenter!
