1 Pot/1 bowl cooking ideas
Discussion
Hi guys,
I'll set the scene, basically I graduate from Uni in about a month and want to cook all my mates (9 of us in total) a nice big/tasty meal. Something a bit different to the usual student fare of bolognaise/shepherds pie etc.
Now here's the problem - we live in college and are usually catered for. We have a kitchen in our block with an oven/grill/4 hobs (rubbishy electric ones).
However this means I don't have any pots/pans/utensils, so my plan is a trip to poundland or something. Obviously wanting to keep the cost of equipment down!
Anyone have any ideas for some tasty, but fairly simple to cook/prepare dishes? The more 'different' the better.

A packet mix I've taken to liking is one for a Chilli & Corriander Sausage casserole type thing
Basically Fry sausages (I use different types of good sausages + some bacon) then cut into chunks before adding back with onions, sweetcorn, can of tomatoes, can of kidney beans and rice. Packet mix & water Simmer & stir until rice has absorbed the liquid. It's good & simple.
