For modern S&V I really rate the M&S Full On Flavour Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar (Big silver bag with blue writing).

But.. may not be allowed in this thread (?), my local corner shop has recently started stocking Lorenz Pomsticks. ADDICTION.

I'm not much of a crisp eater but the Brannigans roast beef and mustard were good. I'm saying 'were' I just google them, didn't realise they were still going.

I am the only person who things the Brannigans now aren't what they used to be? I swear they were chunkier and more "potatoey" back in the day, it's almost like a bit of the flavour leaks out in the thinner bag they have these days.

Anyway... to my contribution. I'm staying out in Germany at the moment and seemingly 50% of the available flavours are variants on Paprika. However, there is a gem buried on the shelves... Funny Frisch Kessel Chips, Salt and Vinegar. The Germans don't seem to go for the traditional British flavours but this one is a match for anything I've had back home.

Taking the thread up market a bit:

Lovely black truffle crisps. Just a tad expensive at about £2 a pack.

Altogether too many corn-based interlopers in this thread; potato-based snacks FTW! I'm partial to Mackie's crisps and Seabrooks crinkly things are pretty moreish too.

Can't be bothered to go back over 11 baby pages but Seabrooks Chilli flavour (can't remember the exact name) loved them. Only one pub in town sold them, we stopped going when they stopped stocking them.

You haven't lived until you've had a pack of piper's cheddar and onion.

They only sell them in pubs, hotels, delis, farm shops and the like so it's like finding the holy grail when you stumble upon a place that sells them.

Anytime I go over to Ireland i notice they have an amazing selection of corn crisps. Thai rings and Ghosties are the standouts. They also sell Buffalo flavoured Hunky Doreys which are amazing.

Theres a new shop opened in Belfast that sells roll/pieces and crisps.

Stupidly hard to find considering they are produced in the UK. I draw the line at ordering snacks online.

Not sure these qualify, but they are fried, salted and crispy.

Tried these last night. Nice enough but they didn't blow me away.
