Marstons sounds good too. I quite like the XO flavour. Not just stronger, more matured if that makes sense?
Found some on ebay but will keep looking for now.
Forgot to say - Tesco are still showing it online... I'll have a look out for you, if I see some, I'll get some for you Found some on ebay but will keep looking for now.

I'll admit that I'm a little marmite obsessed - I do love it, even to the extent of eating it straight from the jar...
I am sorry I got as far as this and threw up.I dont mind the small amount on toats with cheese ham and a bit of cucumber, but straight from the jar, thats too much for me.
On Topic my Dad has a nice selection of hot sauces bought from the states.
Funny this, I don't usually collect things but I have bought a couple of each of the special edition marmite jars. One to eat and one to save for posterity. So I have the guinness, champagne, pedigree and XO varieties tucked away in the bottom of a cupboard at home, ready to be ebay'd in 20 years time. I think of it as my pension!

I'll head into Tesco and 'Trose at the weekend and buy what I can find!

Gutted - I just want to try it - I'll keep the empty jar, but I just need to try it!
The Marmite in question is a "Marstons special edition" - http://thefoodielist.co.uk/wp/marstons-marmite-lim...
Tasty - but given the flavours of them, I ultimately prefer the original marmite. I've had some of the XO, but it's a bit meh.
This is a more recent representation of my Marmite collection... (Apart from the emergency spare jar I keep in my drawers, that is....)
Back on topic - I still don't get collecting foods...
Good to see our Aussie cousins getting in on the act with the Vegemite on the end there....The Marmite in question is a "Marstons special edition" - http://thefoodielist.co.uk/wp/marstons-marmite-lim...

There are days when Vegemite tastes better than Marmite, but sometimes only Marmite will do..

Anyone know where I can source this cheaply in the UK? Online there is Sanza, but a little bit expensive to obtain it from there.

The cereal bar was, to be honest, horrendous - it tasted like a normal cereal bar that someone had just chucked marmite in - too much sweet and salt that clashed as opposed to complimented.

I tried the Marmite Cheddar cheese the other day and have to admit that I didn't really like. I won't be buying it again.
Really? I loved it and the reason I won't buy it again is because I found it moreish and I would hoover up a lot of it in a very short space of time...Edited by james_tigerwoods on Thursday 19th August 15:38
