boak

that is just so wrong.

well done! smile
Is it curry sauce on fish & chips that you don't like? Or that "curry" in particular?

Have to say I could eat f & c & curry any day of the week. Lovely.
Presumably 'that curry'. Was catching a bit of Dogma while reading this and it looked remarkably like the emergence of the Golgothan.

I'm puzzled as to why anyone buys from Dominos these days, or for that matter any pizza chain. The prices are exorbitant!

Example:

Dominos Mighty Meaty (Large) £16.99
Pizza Hut Meat Feast (Large) £15.99
Pizza Gogo Meaty-One (Large) £12.95

I have a local place (Rochester Grill) that delivers pizza, and they charge £11 for a 15" Mighty Meat. That's on a Friday or Saturday. If you order from Sunday to Thursday, it's just £8! And the quality is better than the major chains, plus they do a much wider choice of sides (which are also considerably cheaper... 4 pieces of garlic bread with cheese for £2.10!)
dominos are always half price around here, well buy one get one free

I'm a big fan of pizza GOGO. £10 for a super size pizza. They can't be beaten on value, and if you like that classic pizza takeaway taste. Sometimes I find their pizza to be somewhat inconsistent. On a good day the dough is soft and light, on a bad day the dough is somewhat dense, hard to eat, feels heavy in your stomach, and gives (me) terrible number 2's.

yes lots of offers if you look online

Besides they (I hope) use actual ingredients rather then my local ethnic takeaways who offer ultra cheap pizza due to the processed chicken cubes and god knows what else

^ Far too civilised looking!

Last night's "large" (read: on Naan) Kebab. With confetti sized cuts of meat for some reason.

Was still tasty, despite losing real estate so that the salad gods could be appeased, and the sauce being tepid as opposed to hot.

Not a takeaway but I consider it to be dirty so thought I'd add it here - part of lunch today was "chicken web with mixed meat"

It turned out to be a crab stick, mushroom, "something long, rectangular and brown" and "something else unidentifiable" wrapped in chicken skin and then steamed.

I think the 'chicken skin' is actually a form of tofu. I've had it too and it wasn't pleasant. Crab stick - yuk!

Crab sticks are actually made from fillets of white fish we didn't historically eat. It's by far the healthiest looking thing on that plate. Good work!

It's been a truly filthy weekend.

Saturday - large doner naan with salad, ketchup and chilli sauce and portion of chips. This actually defeated me frown

Sunday
Salted chilli ribs, chilli chips, egg fried rice and bean sprouts, with added sweet chilli sauce.

This week is a healthy one I think.

It had the look, taste and texture of soggy chicken skin but could have been anything really - oddly in the little picture of this one on the dim sum menu it was green.
