Tried 12 Weetabix today.

Failed.

Managed about 10, but then lack of milk was the killer. I only had the one pint in the fridge... if I'd had two, then it would have been a breeze.

Anyway, I can report that I'm very full, and probably won't feel hungry for the rest of the day (although there's a rump steak in the fridge which may start calling out to me later...!)

Did you know, that when they dug the rescue hole for the Chilean miners, it took them a long time to start drilling because before they could drill they had a team of people eating weetabix. Using special bowls which fit over the drill head, they each added in 3 weetabix a day, with cold milk. They then eat the weetabix, but leave the sloshy leftover bit in the bottom. Then, crucially - they forget to put the bowl in the dishwasher until the next day.

Thus they were able to manufacture a drill head tipped with the hardest substance in the known universe, which is 24hr dried on weetabix/milk mix.

Thus ensuring the safe rescue of the miners.

Made my day this thread!

(BTW: the wife can eat 10-12 as a main meal. My 5 and 7 year olds can easily eat 3)

I normally do about 6 in a go. My bowl happens to be quite large, so anything less and its more of a weetabix soup in milk haha

I normally have 4 but I can’t stand them soggy, so I have them in a bowl one-by-one, with just a little sugar on top. hehe Any more and I can’t be arsed, but reckon I could do a packet of 12. 36 sounds really unpleasant. rofl

Used to eat 12 every morning when I was at school. Took about 3-4 minutes, with a litre of milk. I’d crush them up in the packet 3 at a time, before adding milk, and eating them while they were still crunchy.

For less than 10 words that is just epic,

Buttered weetabix ... no milk ....

That is like James Bond at the breakfast buffet

"I'd like my martini shaken not stirred. And my weetabix buttered, not milked"
