Got this as a crimbo pressie from a mate

I dipped my finger into the extreme one, that was painful! Just had some crimbo dinner leftovers, and put 4 drips (little drips) of the mustard one (least spicy) into the gravy. I could taste it, but it wasn't too hot. Will slowly work my way up, this is the first proper hot sauce I've ever had!

I have 1/4 of a bottle of the red one left now! Mainly used them in cheese and ham sandwiches, or adding it to bologneses, curry, pizza, beans etc. My drip to sandwich ratio is 7 now, much better than it was! I took the most hardcore red one to a family bbq last summer... SWMBO's know it all brother in law proclaimed he liked hot sauce, that the 3 drips I recommended would not be tasted and proceeded to put a fair splodge on his burger... By the time I went and got him a beer in preparation he had dropped his plate and started to cry!

Ooodles of fun, but what to replace them with?

My 4 year old daughter needs some training though, we had cheese on toast the other weekend for lunch, and I have some (can't remember the name now) lime and something else chilli sauce. Not spicy in the slightest to me, but adds flavour. She asked for a bite of mine as she had finished hers, I thought nothing of it and she was sick.... I got told off for that.

Rightly so, children are more sensitive to spices and especially chilli than adults. That was probably equivalent to your BIL and the overdose of loopyjuice that had him crying!

I've got a bottle of the original and the buffalo wings sauces. I've started with the buffalo wings flavour as I generally adore that, and I'm really enjoying this one. It has a mild, peppery heat with a real piquant slug of vinegar in the mix. It's that good I sometimes have a spoonful from the bottle when I'm passing the fridge.

I opened a bottle of Meat Lust Buffalo Sauce tonight. It's disgusting, utterly vile. Never before have I considered throwing away a bottle of sauce.
I have previous had their Chinese BBQ sauce. I didn't think that much of it. It was edible but just a rather sweet, five-spice heavy clart that was nothing like good hot sauce.

I would have thought that surely would have went to the Nando's range of bland sauces? I've never heard any plaudits being lauded on Frank's before, but I had heard of the brand.

Always have a bottle of this in the house. Not the hottest (got the three pack of Psycho for that) but full of flavour with a decent kick

Took delivery of some "Sh!t The Bed" today: https://aussiehotsauces.com/product-category/bunst...

The standard "Sh!t The Bed" is excellent... not mental hot, but just right, with a lovely deep smokey rich flavour.

Also tried the "Sh!t The Bed Black Label"... comes with a strap line warning "May Cause Anal Leakage".
Flipping heck....... i'm not man enough for that one... can still fell the heat now!

I bought some of the 'normal' stuff. 8/10 I believe. Like you said really nice.
At the time I thought I should have bought the full fat one but might not bother now! (it will only go the same way as the other daft sauces I bought).

Not exactly hot sauce but I thoroughly recommend these:

http://www.hotsauceemporium.co.uk/shop/fiery-snack...

The gherkins are really, really good. I'm sticking them in every sandwich I make these days. You can ignore the guff about them being monstrously hot because they're not (even after stewing for a few weeks). They're just right and have great flavour.
